So I am not sure why I am not getting the prompt for calibrations as the article says we should get. The receiver has been paired with this transmitter previously. I was on a G4 system from 2015 until the end of 2017 and then a G5 system from the end of 2017 until July 2018 and I probably averaged at least two weeks of use out of a sensor. Can i restart the sensor with a new transmitter? They must have greatly improved on the adhesive, because the sensor shows no sign of coming off. Can I use option 1 if I dont have a compatible smart phone and only use the receiver? Just make sure to select "Stop Sensor" in your compatible smart device* or Dexcom receiver before removing the old sensor; this will help you to prevent issues with pairing your new sensor.
